Introducing  my version of the vintage Univox Phase II pickup.  As usual I went to great lengths to accuratly reproduce this pickup.  Custom Pole pieces, claws, bobbin, magnets, solder terminal, insulator, Mounting screws, and spring, base plate and cover.  All this attention to detail flows directly to the accuracy to its tone.   Unlike other’s attempts at reissue pickups, I don’t use the cover to hide the shortcuts.  I like to show the under the cover pics.  I am proud to show my work and I am not hiding anything.

If you are familiar with this pickup you will see my parts are spot on, as is its tone.   My one regret I have with the release of this pickup, is not getting a Phase 1 before word spread I was recreating this pickup, and the price of the Phase 1 guitars jumped.  This pickup is a no mod direct swap and will transform your Phase 1 to a Phase 2.

At this time I have not reproduced the pickup ring.  These parts were CRAZY expensive to reproduce.  When I recoup some of my costs I will do the ring.  In the mean time I do have a laser cut ring for purchase that is the same footprint.  I am also making custom turnkey router templates to convert the new Aria DM-206, and the Fender Jaguar.
