Repair: Rickenbacker Frying Pan Lap 40's

This is the condition I received this pickup in. Warning do not leave the slide lose inside the case while on tour as it bounces around in the case it might hit the pickup and break it. The pickup is dead, and the top of the bobbin is broken. After dismantling the pickup and removing the wire, I noticed that the whole bobbin is a single piece of molded Bakelite. I was able to glue the top back on and rewind it.
