Here is one of my latest ideas for a Jazzmaster. It is a Jazzmaster pickup constructed like a P-90 but it is using 1/4 inch rods. The magnetic pull is the same so it won't effect the string vibration, it just gives you a larger sensing area for each string. Best of all the rods are short so this will fit a standard route and require no modification to the guitar. Here is a link to my '63 Jazzmaster I have made it so it mounts with no modifications
