[ JM-90 | PAF Jazzmaster ]

Hold on to your hats here!!! This is a Charlie Christian style P-90 Blade made to fit a Jazzmaster. This Fat beast is designed to fit your Jazzmaster with NO mods. True to an original Charlie Christian the coil is wound with 38awg wire so the coil is FAT like its tone and has a DC resistance of around 3.7k. Using this wire you get a very powerful pickup that is still Beefy and FAT, and NOT midrangy and shril. The blade is a full 5/16" wide, but since it is using regular bar magnets you dont get any excessive pull on the strings. This pickup can be made so the top is flush so it can hide under a stock cover. Here is a link to my '63 Jazzmaster I have made it so it mounts with no modifications
